Stress management strategies for dealing with distance adoption from Covid-19 to the war in Ukraine

The diploma thesis focuses on the stress management strategy issue while dealing with child sponsorship from Covid-19 until the war in Ukraine. The work goal is to describe and analyse the effects of the pandemic Covid-19 and the war in Ukraine for child sponsorship and to find out the stress management strategy of the Centrum Narovinu staff while dealing with the child sponsorship. The theoretical part defines the stress and stress relief strategy (coping) concept; child sponsorship with a specific supported country description - Kenya. It also defines the term of Covid-19 and the war in Ukraine with its impact on the Czech Republic and Kenya. The practical part deals with qualitative research with respondents which has interviews form. The diploma thesis focuses on respondents' sample who work in the Centrum Narovinu, i.e., in an organization dealing with child sponsorship. The result of the research gives an interpretation of the child sponsorship impact and stress management strategies of the Centrum Narovinu staff from Covid-19 until the war in Ukraine. The collected data can help to support developing countries and boost stress management abilities among workers who help in these countries. Adoption of African children at a distance in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the issue of adoptions of African children at a distance in the Czech Republic and ways to participate in this humanitarian activities. Is focuses on the conditions of one of the possible forms of aid to children in poor countries around the world and in African States, Kenya and Guinea. Presented is the situation of children in selected countries from the perspective of poverty, illiteracy and disease (AIDS/HIV). Furthermore, the conditions of adoption of children at a distance, what does that mean for the "adoptive parents" in the Czech Republic and what benefit it has for the child in Guinea and Kenya. What are the possible positive and negative aspects of the possible adoption of African children. Presented will be non-governmental organization "Humanist Center Dialog" and "Humanist Center Narovinu". Their activity over the years, interviews with coordinators, and the "adoptive parents". Mentioned will also be their other activities, such as the World March for Peace and Nonviolence, ball Africa, etc. Using interviews with coordinators center and the "adoptive parents" will do an analysis of interviews with the literature. The conclusion is that the positive aspects clearly outweigh the negative and adoptions at a distance makes sense.
